Cierant Corporation is looking for a motivated and energetic Client Services Associate who has a good blend of customer service and project management experience that will allow him/her to handle their own client assignments. Ideal candidates will be highly detail oriented, passionate about his/her work, have strong analytic and problem solving skills, a desire to work both with client’s and as part of a highly collaborative team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CSA’s principal responsibility is to service the needs of the client. As a company, we pride ourselves in our ability to put our client’s first and to be flexible in order to meet their needs. The CSA will work closely with their clients to gather project requirements, document project scope and workflow, obtain client sign off, and overall maintenance of the account. This position does require some travel, generally within the greater Northeast, but could expand, depending on client base. He/She will also coordinate with our internal Production, Development and Creative teams, in tangent, to ensure all projects are aligned with customer requirements, as well as done on time and within budget.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience working directly with clients and/or customer service

Prior Experience in account management in an advertising or direct mail agency

Solid understanding of basic project management processes

Microsoft Office proficiency; particularly Excel

Familiarity with websites, ecommerce, mobile, etc.

Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Cierant Corporation is looking to establish a remote development center in the Charlottesville, VA area and is seeking an experienced application engineer to anchor development efforts in this new office. The ideal candidate will lead a small team in the development, implementation, integration and maintenance of applications in our marketing portals and automation team.

We are looking for a Lead who can direct work in C# .NET deployed in an AWS host environment, including integration with industry leading platforms for business intelligence, document customization and eDelivery. This Lead will formulate and define system scope and objectives in conjunction with our Danbury, CT based development office and through research and fact-finding to develop bespoke enterprise systems to support marketing automation, collaboration and budget management.

This role prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written as well as designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Responsibilities will include code reviews and leading other developers on enterprise projects working closing with others as the solution architect to ensure proper system design. This will ensure the highest quality implementations from design through development, QA and production requiring a seasoned professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coding, testing and documentation for enterprise application implementations

Coordination of delivery of overall technical solution to schedule with our CT-based Development Director

Working with the HQ location to troubleshoot issues

Creating documents such as release plans for production releases

Deploying and debug applications in the development environment

Maintaining the development environment for required applications

Troubleshooting environmental issues in QA

Completes all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets

Multi-tiered custom application design & development

Ability to convert business requirements into full design documents including technical designs, service guides, and deployment guides with the ability to identify scalability and design appropriately.

Be able to provide technical supervision and management guidance to local development team in the VA office, and provide assistance in the selection of additional team members for the VA location

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

5-10 years of experience in (Application development, Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer).

5-10 years of experience with developing .NET Web applications.

Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial project environment

Microsoft Skills: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio

Experience in deployment of cloud-based applications, preferably in AWS environment

Experience with web service standards (WCF, REST, and SOAP)

Preferred:

BS/BA in related discipline

Technical skills:

• Microsoft Skills: MVC, Razor, PowerApps, Flow, InfoPath

• Web skills: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, XML

• Security skills: SAML, Oauth

Agile Scrum development methodology

Knowledge of performance tuning, security, scalability

Proficiency in writing unit tests and using unit testing frameworks

Full comprehension of n-Tier architectures
